AIM appoints new Membership Coordinator Sara Al Hamad

Callum Johnson Promoted to Friends of AIM Manager Role

The Association of Independent Music (AIM), which represents the UK’s independent music sector, has appointed a new Membership Coordinator.

Sara Al Hamad, whose appointment is effective immediately, joins the organisation’s London based team having previously consulted for a number of music companies in Croatia and the US. She has worked extensively in sync and is qualified in copyright law.

Reporting to Membership Manager Jude McArdle, Sara will be working across a number of member focused projects including a major relaunch of the AIM website, the development of the ‘Regional Champions’ initiative, plans for AIM’s 20th Anniversary activity and the trade body’s brand new three-day global conference, AIM Connected.

Alongside this new appointment AIM’s current Membership Administrator Callum Johnson has assumed a newly created role as Friends of AIM Manager, overseeing the organisation’s associate member scheme.

Jude McArdle said, “Sara will be a great asset to the AIM team. As we continue to strengthen our commitment to member services it’s important that we have the right staff in place to fully service the individual needs of our ever-growing community, and Sara brings a great mixture of knowledge and experience to help achieve this. Callum has done a fantastic job as Membership Administrator. His elevation to Friends of AIM Manager is fully deserved and highlights our desire to provide real support and value to our associate members.”
