LOUD AND QUIET LAUNCHES IN JAPAN AS A RETAIL TITLE

Having supplied London and the UK with a completely independent, free music magazine for over six years, Loud And Quiet is to launch in Japan on 10 November 2011 as a retail title.

The small team that create Loud And Quiet every month has been very fortunate to receive a great deal of support from those within the music industry and from those who simply love alternative, underground music. It’s not just led to the survival of the printed magazine (which comes on newsprint, in tabloid format) but to its growth over the past couple of years. Launching outside of the UK seemed like the next logical step for a publication wanting to reach as many new music fans as possible.

Loud And Quiet Japan will include the original UK edition in full, plus an insert featuring the issue’s interviews and band profiles translated into Japanese. Exclusive photography will also be included in the extra pages only available in Japan.

Loud And Quiet editor Stuart Stubbs will be interviewed on Japanese radio station J-WAVE on November 10 to discuss the launch of Loud And Quiet Japan, and each edition will be on sale on the 10th of every month.
