We say

Musician and songwriter Richard Walters describes this track as an ‘anti-love song’ and the story it tells is one that will resonate with every one of us. It’s the fourth single from his fourth album A.M., which was released last October and immediately picked up much love from key tastemaker blogs including The Line Of Best Fit, All Things Go and The Wild Honey Pie. There’s also been support for songs from it from Lauren Laverne at 6Music and Dermot O’Leary, who had him in for a live session on his Saturday afternoon Radio 2 show. Its first single July Bones has picked up more than 600,000 Spotify plays since release. This latest release was co-written by Island Records artist Lauren Aquilina and produced by Aidan O’Brien, also noted for his work with Shells. Richard is working on a new album already, again with Aidan, due around September. Before that he’s performing live in London on March 9 as part of Communion Presents at Paper Dress Vintage in Shoreditch. Beautifully textured, full of restrained emotion and expertly delivered, this stunning song will leave a lasting impression.
