Multi-instrumentalist and producer SOHN (pronounced 'Sonn') has a unique sound that layers haunting, Timberlake-esque vocals over a backdrop of analogue drum machines and synths, blending scenes of night-time London streets and the mountainous landscapes of Austria where he now lives. The slow-building Bloodflows floored the Mohawk Indoor crowd at SXSW last week, as it did Huw Stephens earlier in the year, earning SOHN an invitation to Maida Vale for a session that aired last week. Label interest in SOHN is high, and will no doubt continue to grow as he embarks on a long summer of European festival appearances including Latitude, just confirmed.
