SCREAM : CLOSING DOWN THEIR EVENT ARM OF THE COMPANY TO FOCUS ON PLUGGING & PR

After over 15 successful years working on some of the UK's biggest events and festivals, Scream Promotions today announce they will be closing down their events arm of the company in May, to focus on their plugging and PR side (and their young families!)

Scream co-founders Tony Cooke and Claire Collins have looked after the broadcast PR for flagship events including The BRIT Awards, Reading and Leeds, The Mercury Prize and The iTunes Festival for many years, but feel the time is right to focus on their plugging and PR arm which continues to thrive.

Claire Colllins says "We have had over 15 great years running Scream Events but it now feels right to concentrate on our plugging arm, other possible work opportunities and our young families. It was definitely a hard decision to make. We have loved working on our events and being an integral part of their continuing success, but it feels the right time for a change."

Tony Cooke says "It has been a privilege to be involved in so many huge UK events and festivals over the years, but it feels right to scale things back rather than continue to expand. We would like Scream Events to go out on a high and we can now hand our event mantle onto someone else. Up The Irons!"
