LONDON - April 18th - Ged Doherty, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Entertainment UK & Ireland, announces that Sony Music has entered into a new long term joint venture agreement with the Phonogenic Label that will see the label working with Sony Music for the next five years.
As part of the deal the Phonogenic management team will assume responsibility for Sony Music UK's Epic Label following the departure of current MD Nick Raphael in June and will report into Nick Gatfield, President, Music Division.
Phonogenic's four strong management team consists of General Manager "Tops" Henderson, Head Of A&R Paul Lisberg ,and established and successful songwriters Steve Kipner and Andrew Frampton.
