Music Glue announce new D2C platform release

Music Glue announce new D2C platform release, promising the world’s most advanced and cost effective e-commerce tool for the music industry

Music Glue have confirmed that they will be officially launching their brand new direct to consumer platform at this year’s Great Escape event in Brighton. The new platform enables any artist, band, manager, label, venue, promoter or festival to sell a range of products through their innovative web technology. Users can create an account within seconds and not only design and customise their store pages, but can begin selling digital and physical products straight away for no subscription or membership fees. The user interface includes fully integrated gig calendar system, ticketing, digital and merch stores, with all customer orders and payments processed through Music Glue’s systems.

Music Glue founder Mark Meharry says ‘we’ve developed this cutting edge new platform with our highly dedicated team and are very pleased to now finally unveil it to the world! Our new technology has the power to genuinely change the way the industry works and for the first time brings together everything an artist, label or promoter could need to sell products direct to consumers.’

For the first time in the UK the Music Glue team plan to take the audience through the new system at their Great Escape launch and explain how to get the most out of the world’s most advanced and cost effective direct selling tool. Music Glue currently works with a range of artists from Mumford and Sons, Gabrielle Aplin and Nina Nesbitt to Enter Shikari, Ben Howard and Ghostpoet who were all quick to adopt the system and see the benefits of direct to fan e-commerce.

Since its launch in 2007, Music Glue has grown exponentially, and now works with over 300 venues across the UK, plus over 2000 promoters and 8000 artists globally. Having recently opened an office in Sydney, Australia, the company continues to grow worldwide with clients in Europe, Asia and Australia. From small independent venues to Grammy award winning global artists, Music Glue users all over the world sell their digital content, physical merchandise and event tickets in multiple currencies, multiple languages via any device from mobile to tablet and PC.
