David Dollimore promoted at Ministry of Sound
12 January 2011After ten years at the label David Dollimore has been promoted to Recordings Managing Director at Ministry of Sound.
Ministry CEO Lohan Presencer says 'Dave joined Ministry of Sound ten years ago and has led the charge in A&R through the most successful period in our history, bringing artists like Eric Prydz and Example to the label as well as our exciting new signings Yasmin and Wretch 32, through our Levels imprint. I trust his musical taste and vision implicitly and his promotion to Managing Director of Recordings is a natural next step.'
Dollimore is now responsible for overseeing all aspects of Recordings, strengthening the portfolio of artists and building their repertoire, developing new global markets for MOS as well as forging more joint venture opportunities with third parties. He adds 'It has been an incredible 10 years at Ministry, it has a particularly special magic of its own and there is constant excitement arising from a steady flow of new developments. I intend to make Ministry the natural home for exciting talent across most genres. I am relishing the thought of what we can achieve in the next few years in this challenging global marketplace.'
