Bryan Mead Joins PledgeMusic as Senior Vice President, Artist and Label Relations in the U.S.



PledgeMusic, the leading global direct to fan platform today announced that Bryan Mead has been named Senior Vice President, Artist and Label Relations in the US. Mead will report to PledgeMusic’s CEO, Dominic Pandiscia and will be based in Los Angeles, where he will lead the New York-headquartered company’s West Coast base.
“Bryan Mead brings 25+ years of industry expertise to his new position at PledgeMusic, including extensive experience in the evolving new music business,” said Pandiscia. “Bryan has a deep understanding of the value of developing new fans around an artist and optimizing that relationship. He adds a unique perspective to PledgeMusic’s executive team and will be key in reinforcing the value our platform brings to artists, labels, managers and fans.”
PledgeMusic has a growing base of 3 million music fans directly engaging with the artists they love. The platform has provided more than 50,000 artists and musicians with inventive ways to connect with those fans, creating newfound revenue and strategic marketing and engagement opportunities. Mead will oversee PledgeMusic’s domestic artist, label and management relations. He is responsible for establishing new industry alliances, implementing strategies and acquiring clients and campaigns that spur overall company growth and best utilize its technologies and integrated network, which includes NoiseTrade and Set.fm. Mead will work closely with the company’s campaign management, marketing and artist development teams to help drive the deepest artist/fan connections possible while working to develop artists via all the tools and services of PledgeMusic’s ecosystem.
Bryan Mead brings an impressive track record working with major label and independent artists, as well as deep experience across the traditional and independent distribution landscape to PledgeMusic. He most recently served as INgrooves Music Group’s Senior Vice President, Label Services and Marketing and was a founding member of Universal Music Group’s Fontana Distribution executive team, where he drove company structure, systems and strategy. In addition, Mead held artist development, sales and marketing positions at Universal Music Group Distribution and Sony Music Distribution.
