Boy Jumps Ship sign to Amazing Record Co. and announce debut album

The Amazing Media Group welcome Boy Jumps Ship to the roster of their newly formed independent record label – Amazing Record Co. The band will release their debut album, produced by Larry Hibbit (Hundred Reasons, Marmozets, Nothing But Thieves) in 2016.

Boy Jumps Ship hail from the North East of England, playing anthemic guitar led alt rock, laden with and honesty and integrity. This is a band of working class lads writing and playing music about real life; a band that inspires hopes and dreams and instantly connects with an audience.

Paul Campbell, Amazing CEO said: “At Amazing, we love finding bands early and helping them all the way. Our list of discoveries is pretty long now - Daughter, Chvrches, Haim, London Grammar - all bands we played on the radio before anyone else in the world.

“We launched the label earlier this year to help musicians all the way from their first recordings to global acclaim. Boy Jumps Ship are another band we played from the very start and they are destined for huge things. It's a nice plus that, like us, they are Geordies. The guys are truly amazing and we're thrilled to be working with them.”

Amazing have championed Boy Jumps Ship since the band first formed, through amazingtunes.com, and on Amazing Radio, where the band’s first single, Backstays and Halyards was playlisted in 2010. Boy Jumps Ship have gone on to play two sessions for the station and most recently featured on Amazing Record Co.’s compilation release You Heard It Here First: Rock, Vol. 1.

Currently on a joint headline tour with only Rivals, and shortly due to support Young Guns across the UK, Boy Jumps Ship are also appearing at Alexandra Palace on 18^th Oct for the Vans Warped Tour UK.
