alt. tickets staff choose Attitude is Everything for charity checkout scheme

  • Staff members at alt. tickets, which is owned by DHP Familty, have nominated Attitude is Everything as one of their chosen charities for 6 months in 2017
  • Customers can choose to donate to Attitude is Everything when they buy tickets on the alt. tickets site

Attitude is Everything are delighted to announce that alt. tickets want to support our work for the next six months.  The Nottingham-based company sells tickets for DHP shows across the UK, with current events including Splendour, The Human League and The Flaming Lips.

Last year, alt. tickets sold over 260,000 tickets.

They have introduced a function on their ticketing website in which a customer can round up their order at the checkout and donate the difference to charity.

Tom Sokolyk, DHP Family, Marketing & Data Developer says:

“Since we launched our charity checkout feature last year, our generous customers have raised thousands for worthwhile causes across the UK. Like Attitude is Everything, alt. tickets believe everyone should be able to enjoy their favourite gigs and festivals, so we’re very happy to be supporting them and the incredible work they do in breaking down barriers for deaf and disabled people’s access to live music.”

Suzanne Bull MBE, Chief Executive Officer, Attitude is Everything says:

“I’m honoured that alt. Tickets staff have nominated Attitude is Everything as one of their chosen charities and I’d like to take the opportunity of thanking them alongside alt.  tickets customers who will be donating to us.  There are currently 3.6 million disabled people that attend a live music event every year, yet there are 11 million disabled people living in the UK, so we still have a lot of work to do in making sure that the barriers to gigs and festivals are removed.  Your donations ensure that we can give even more opportunities to our beneficiaries who are passionate about live music.”
