AIM CONFIRMS AGM DETAILS
06 July 2015 - Press releaseThe Association of Independent Music (AIM), which represents over 800 independent music companies in the UK, has confirmed details of its Annual General Meeting (AGM), which this year takes place on Tuesday 22nd September at Glaziers Hall, London.
Starting at 11am a full programme of events is planned for the day including a keynote address from AIM’S Chairman and CEO Alison Wenham, a panel addressing key issues affecting the independent music community and the AIM council elections, which will see four new members join the organisation’s board as directors.
In addition a major keynote interview is planned, details of which will be announced in the near future.
Alison Wenham, Chairman and CEO of AIM said, “2015 has been another challenging year for the independent community as the industry continues to transition and evolve. We have been confronted with several potentially game changing issues but the unity of both our own members and our affiliate organisations around the world has demonstrated once again how strong our collective voice is. The independents are playing an ever greater role in the future shape of the global music industry and our AGM will present a great opportunity to put all of these developments into perspective and to celebrate the progress we continue to make.”
