WE SAY
These Reigning Days come from Devon and look set to blast through on an international level with a slick, urgent guitar sound that puts them head and shoulders above many of the other young hopefuls being touted as the future of rock. This great track comes from the recently-released album The Opera Of Love and genuinely sounds stadium ready, thanks to its incredible radio-friendly production from Grammy award-winner Ade Bushby (noted for his work with rock giants like Muse and Foo Fighters) Tonight (October 8) sees the band launch a new London club night called SW3 at Hoxton's Underbelly. Devised as a showcase evening for the best new music to come from the south west of England, it's being supported by BBC Introducing (who recently made this their Upload Of The Week) and we too applaud the live initiative. After this, the band tour the UK, Europe and US and hope to consolidate on their early support from key stations like KROQ in LA and beyond. Airplay here from Xfm and Radio 1 just feels like the start. Keep a close eye on this lot.
