The New Cities
Dead End, Countdown

unsigned/ Sony, Canada

WE SAY

The New Cities, signed to Sony in Canada, are currently picking up lots of TV play over here for this track. The Box, Chartshow TV, Scuzz, NME TV and Kerrang! TV (where they've had a Video of the Week) have all playlisted. Ian Camfield has given early radio plays on XFM. Magazines like Big Cheese and Rock Sound are covering with fans at Kerrang! too. The kind of sharp hybrid synth-rock sound showcased on this, their first UK single, should find further press and radio appeal. They've toured the UK recently with The Mission District and plan a return tour as well as the release of their album Lost In City Lights. JF
