WE SAY
Goldspot's 'Clap Clap' from their new album 'And The Elephant is Dancing' has enjoyed a wealth of sync action since the album was self-released in the US. Most recently it has featured on a web promo for the Apple iPad. KCRW tastemakers Jason Bentley and Nic Harcourt are fans of the unsigned act, with Bentley's Morning Becomes Eclectic show having the band in session. We featured tracks from their 2007 album 'Tally Of The Yes Men' when it came out in the UK and we still think they have a huge talent in frontman Siddhartha Khosla. Their new material builds on the promise of their first album with this quirky alt-pop track leading the way. Goldspot are available for records, publishing and are seeking an agent. JF
