Dan Clews
Move Too Fast

Weird Eye/RTD

WE SAY

"Pitching himself as Folktronica weighs expectations towards the leftfield, with the actual songs here more suited to Radio 2 land" wrote Clash Magazine of Dan Clews' debut album back in December. How right they were - Move Too Fast has just been added to BBC Radio 2's C-list. It comes after securing a publishing deal with George Martin Music (and George's son Giles lends a hand to production duties on the album) and follows plenty of regional radio support for the Kent-based artist. Dan has a radio session lined up with Radio 2's Bob Harris in the summer and, before that, plenty of live dates and festivals. The deft touch demonstrated on Move Too Fast warrants the positive album reviews from the likes of Clash, Mojo, Word and The Guardian. Dan Clews is available for records and a booking agent. JF
