Launching our final week of Ones To Watch 2023 before Christmas is British newcomer Taura Lamb. The London-based artist should be familiar to regular readers, having featured her previously in 2021 and earlier this year. This year saw the Midlands-born singer drop her noughties-nostalgia-oozing R&B ten-track project Revisions. It has seen her receive the support of BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Spotify's New Music Friday UK and Apple Music's New Music Daily, alongside praise from a vast array of publications, including The Line Of Best Fit, Fizzy Mag, Wonderland, Lyrical Lemonade and Notion. Co-written with ST LUNA, Talk is her latest release - a sassy pop number backed by a UKG-based beat that has amassed over 2.6m likes on TikTok and featured on 4.6k playlists on Spotify. With over 13m streams across DSPs, Taura will showcase her music this Wednesday at Paper Dress Vintage in London and is to headline The Grace next year (5 April 2023). Showcasing a love of pop and R&B, Taura produces warm and heartfelt pop nuggets touched with nostalgia that we believe will lead her to have a breakout year in 2023.
