Steve Pilgrim
Lover, Love Her

unsigned

WE SAY

Steve Pilgrim, formerly of The Stands and drummer with John Power and Paul Weller, self-released his solo album last year and this is the beautiful title track. The album is picking up some good press coverage currently, including the most recent issue of Word Magazine. In their review they described Pilgrim as having "a great soulful ache of a voice and a brave, wide-open lyrical stance". This track also featured on Word's covermount CD. It's a wonderfully abstract and drifting tune and a fine introduction to his understated style. Currently the subject of label and publisher interest, he remains available for both. JF
