Sometime
Catch Me If You Can

Itsuka/Continenta

WE SAY

Part of a 90's-inspired revival in Northern European pop music, Iceland's Sometime are a five-piece group who release this as their debut single in the UK next month. This electro driven track sounds like it owes much to Goldfrapp, but survives on its own merits too. Sometime's sound is heavily inspired by early 90's dance/80's new wave as well as 50's burlesque - which is what makes them an infinitely suitable festival prospect. A series of singles are to be released before their debut album, 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious', which is due for release next year. The band play Iceland Airwaves this Thursday. JF
