Stricken City
Lost Art

unsigned/ Blue Flowers

WE SAY

Whether it's the draw of singer Rebekah Raa's voice, or the low-fi simplicity of their sound, there's a lot to like about this track from Stricken City. It was co-produced by Ian Davenport at Courtyard and Will from Adventures Close To Home - David from ACTH manages the band. It's released as a limited 7" by Blue Flowers Records - a new label distributed by Polydor - set up on the back of a successful, long-running club night which is responsible for launching many an artist in recent years. Stricken City embark on a UK tour next month preceded by some London dates. Early media reaction has been positive with The Times, Q and The Guardian all tipping the band, an XFM playlisting under their belt, and now blogger Perez Hilton has just added his seal of approval. They are available for records and publishing. JF London gigs: September 23, Club Popaganda @ UCL WC1/ September 25, Levis Ones To Watch @ The Macbeth N1
