WE SAY
Coming out of Brooklyn and ready to dominate charts worldwide in 2017, we reckon, let us introduce you to music-obsessed duo Secret Weapons, as they start their assault on the UK with this rather brilliant track. Drawing you in with a great chugging guitar line reminiscent of Stevie Nicks classic Edge Of Seventeen (later famously sampled on Bootylicious), it’s a song that’s expertly produced and could sit comfortably on multi-format radio playlists almost anywhere. Comprising of Danny Rocco and Gerry Lange, they only launched last October, but just last month finished a US tour with Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco, and have also recently played with Lukas Graham and Bebe Rexha too. Last week, they headlined the BMI stage at Lollapalooza and have been selling out shows in New York with their wild secret parties. Next comes they full length debut LP and if this and the wonderful Something New are anything to go by, it promises to be stuffed with killer tracks. This is global pop with a myriad of brilliant influences. We confess, we're already totally obsessed.
