Robert DeLong
Global Concepts

Glassnote/Island

WE SAY

As electronic music continues to surge across the globe, Robert DeLong brings something truly unique to the table. The glitchy, electro-based but vocal-led chop master from Seattle has already been hotly tipped in his home country by MTV USA but, as news of his technical ability spreads, we’re hot on their heels. Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Phil & Alice are firm supporters after many plays, a Maida Vale session, Record of the Week and a Big Thing feature – resulting in a solid C List placement and further day time plays. Printed press has been equally as strong with Star Playlist, The Sun, The Independent on Sunday, Clash and many more jumping on board. Featured track Global Concepts is causing such a stir it entered at No 18 in the UK Shazam charts this week. At only 27-years-old there’s a lot still to come from this indie drummer turned electro experimentalist, starting with debut album Just Movement coming later this year.
