WE SAY
The voice of Rebecca Ferguson remains very special indeed and we’d argue that she’s one of the most underated British stars. Last time we featured her was just ahead of the release of her Lady Sings The Blues covers album, which went on to become one of 2015’s best-selling jazz albums in the UK. Now she’s back with a new collection of songs, and this beautiful track sees her return to the roots of what made her platinum-selling debut Heaven so special. An emotional, passionate lyric combined with an immaculate production sound and her distinctive tones make this a song that genuinely grows in stature with every play. Premiered recently by Ken Bruce at Radio 2, it’s now on the station’s playlist and she performed it on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing launch show. Rebecca showcased her upcoming fourth album Superwoman at an exclusive event last night (September 20) at London’s Hard Rock Cafe, and will tour across the UK this autumn, taking in a date at the London Palladium on November 1. Bones is pure class from one of this country's most unassuming talents.
