Dom Zilla
Holding

unsigned / self-release

WE SAY

Perfectly chilled and utterly absorbing throughout, we reckon you’ll be as enamoured with this fabulous track from Dom Zilla as we are. We first featured the musician and producer last summer with his equally lovely Take Home but this latest release which is out today (September 2) takes things up a notch. He’s come a long way since he began making music in his Newcastle bedroom at the age of 12, and now is receiving plaudits from cool tastemaker blogs including Clash, The Line Of Best Fit, Complex and Wonderland, along with radio support for his work to date from 6Music’s Lauren Laverne, Phil Taggart and Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing show. He’s a versatile chap too - he recently did one of the remixes for M.O.’s summer chart hit Who Do You Think Of?  Taken from his latest EP ‘ii’, which also features vocals from Skinnyman and Dave Okumu from The Invisible, Dom is at the forefront of pioneering UK electronic music that’s hugely accessible, making his a name that should find itself gracing 2017 tips lists if there’s any justice. And this is a sublime baptism.
