WE SAY
Longtime RotD favourite Nina Nesbitt - we first featured her as an unsigned artist last May and invited her to headline our Great Escape showcase - follows the success of her Stay Out EP with Way In The World, a snappy and melodic coming-of-age song whose breezy video has notched up an incredible 1.5m views since the video premiered less than two weeks ago. No surprise then that Nina has been selected as the next VEVO LIFT artist for the UK, joining the ranks of Rita Ora, Bastille and Iggy Azalea among others. She's had a great start at radio too, with spins from Sara Cox, Matt Edmondson and others at Radio 1, as well as a clutch of early playlist additions at regional. Print remains strong from teen press to the broadsheets, a recent Times T2 feature including her in their 'Ten New Festival Acts You Must See', and with Nina’s October tour selling well (many venues already having been upgraded), all the signs are that she is an artist with staying power.
