WE SAY
This is the second single on indie Lavolta (a joint venture with Sony/BMG) from the the 22 year-old Manchester singer-songwriter, with backup from his five-piece band. It's a slow burning epic song that rambles from poignant, grief-stricken lyrics with classy strings, to Louis Armstrong lyrics, ending with a rousing finale. A gem of a song, this showcases the breadth of his talents. Sessions for Gideon Coe and Marc Riley on 6Music and its recent addition to Xfm's playlist will help get the word out.
