Kid Cudi Vs. Crookers
Day 'N' Nite
WE SAY
Cleveland rapper and singer Kid Cudi's Day 'N' Nite has all the makings of a hit. A support act for Kanye West's UK Tour, Cudi is working with on West's forthcoming album with his own debut LP due for release early next year. Italian production duo Crookers have added an electro/bassline edge to this track, which has been huge in UK and European resorts this past summer. With early specialist plays on R1 and currently on 1Xtra's A List, this was added three months upfront on Kiss and is No1 on Shazam's Pre-release Tag Chart. Out on Data in January, this is shaping up to be 2009's first big hit. JF
