Soda Boys
Everybody Cha Cha

L.A.D

WE SAY

The Soda Boys are a new collective of artists from music, art, photography and fashion. Their debut single gets a release on independent L.A.D Productions next month off the back of R1 and 1Xtra support from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Trevor Nelson and MistaJam among others. Vocals come from Dave The Dove from De La Soul and newcomer Smith the Mr. Sunday Times Culture listed it among their hottest downloads last week, describing it as "Addictive Basement Jaxxy, dotty disco, built around the simplest of chord sequences". Good club support and several key press piece lined up point to something that could rise above tastemaker status - it's certainly infectious, invigorating dance-pop. JF
