Something Bout Our Love
WE SAY
We have openly gushed many times here about the beautiful vocals and sound of JONES since we first heard Indulge in 2015. Something Bout Our Love is the first brand new music following the release of her sumptuous debut album New Skin last year. Co-written with Isabella Summers (Florence and The Machine), the track sees JONES moving away from her laid-back soul vibes to an upbeat, floorfilling dance groove with help from electro-house producer TIEKS. It’s an absolute gem from the moment you hit play as the contagious beat and 90s house feels drive JONES’ joyous vocals. Released last Friday (3 November), the song featured in 12 Spotify New Music Friday playlists (including UK & USA) and is receiving radio support from 1Xtra who also premiered the track on Mistajam’s show. With a video directed by William Baker (Kylie) on its way next week, we are sure more praise and support will be on its way for this irresistible song. If you haven’t yet seen her perform live she will be headlining London’s Omeara on 29 November where we are sure you will be blown away by her sheer talent. Just simply, amazing.
