Telling a story of temptation, lust and discovery, You Got Love is the enchanting debut single from London-based duo Daniel James and Courtney Paynter, aka Upstairs Open. Having met through a mutual friend, musical director Sam Kennedy (Foxes, Bastille), during a studio session half a decade ago, the pair kept in contact as their paths diverged until they both found themselves in London and decided it was time to start making music again. Produced by James Earp (Fickle Friends, Bipolar Sunshine) the track blends natural and electronic tones into a seductively soothing soundbed for their hypnotic vocals. It is a gorgeous and immersive modern pop song that subtly weaves its way into your subconscious. With over 170k streams on Spotify so far and online tastemaker support from The Line Of Best Fit, Indie Shuffle and Clash, the duo have a promising future ahead of them.
