Jay C vs The Rock Steady Crew

Jay C, a Space Ibiza resident, has reworked the 1983 track from New York breakdancing and hip hop group The Rock Steady Crew (the original of which got to number six in UK singles charts back then). And like they did with Somebody's Watching Me, Beatfreakz have taken their hands to this 80s smash, providing a house remix, as does electro DJ Friendly and house producer Martin Ten Velden. Initial club reactions to the early versions of this have been positive with plays from the likes of Erick Morillo, Fedde Le Grand & Trent Cantrelle. It's the kind of reworking that has both punter and clubber appeal, and we're sure with this great video, Nebula/EMI can make this into a summer hit. JF
