Terra Naomi
Say It's Possible

unsigned

WE SAY

Terra Naomi, an LA-based singer, has the second most subscribed-to musician channel on YouTube. During the summer she decided to film a series of video blogs and call it her Virtual Summer Tour. In the past two months those videos have been viewed 2.5 million times. This song has become something of a phenomenon in itself, nearing the one million mark, with hundreds of people posting of their own cover versions in different styles and languages. The statistics for her YouTube and MySpace pages are impressive, but they would mean little without the talent behind it. Her endearing lo-fi performances on YouTube are backed up great voice, fitting in somewhere between Alanis Morissette and Kate Bush. And her work is already connecting with millions of people without the help of a record deal. JF In The City Gig: 29 October Bedlam, 10:30pm
