Fuchse ft. Patrice & Humphrey Sitima
Left To Waste

HK Records/ Ministry Of Sound Recordings

WE SAY

Two excellent up-and-coming young vocalists appear on this gorgeously chilled house track from mysterious UK DJ-producer duo Füchse. London-based Patrice is someone we’ve been following closely for most of the year after being discovered by BBC Introducing. Here he adds a Sam Smith-esque quality to it all alongside Humphrey Sitima and it’s a winning combination that managed to notch up more than 10,000 SoundCloud plays in its first 48 hours. Premiered via tastemaker dance music blog Dancing Astronaut, it’s being heralded a standout example of the burgeoning tropical-house scene. Think essential soundtrack to sunshine, warm beaches, total relaxation and not a care in the world. Füchse’s growing reputation as go-to-remixers will undoubtedly continue to see their profile ascend rapidly in 2015. For now, this is just the sort of audio tonic we need to see us through the cold snap.
