WE SAY
22-year-old Londoner Edei's sweet and soulful single Loved comes out Alma Recordings early next year. Chosen to support JLS on their pre-Christmas 19 date UK arena tour, Edei is managed by Brian Freshwater and Jackie Hughes, the team who discovered and developed Joss Stone. This single and her forthcoming album Inside Information (out April 2011) was co-written by Edei, her producer and co-collaborator Misreid and songwriter Conner Reeves. Loved was mixed by Tony Maserati (Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas). Edei's sound has recently been described as "heart-stopping, Big Apple-steeped soul" by Hattie Collins in RWD Magazine. A London showcase (tonight) precedes her tour with JLS.
