Cold War Kids
We Used To Vacation

V2

WE SAY

This Californian quartet were the buzz band of the summer for bloggers and specialist radio after a successful SXSW and subsequent appearance at Lollapalooza. Downtown won the race to sign them in the US, with V2 getting them for the UK. We Used To Vacation is from their forthcoming E.P, with full-length debut Robbers & Cowards coming our way in early 2007. The most fitting description we read of singer Nathan Willet's voice is "Jeff Buckley by way of Jack White”. Their debut is strong, classy, and confident, and it more than justifies their earlier buzz. JF London Gig: 9 November, Scala N1
