Duke Special
Last Night I Nearly Died (But I Woke Up Just In Time)

V2

WE SAY

We first featured Duke Special when he was unsigned back in March 2004, and we've supported him since. The album, Songs From The Deep Forest, is full of belters like this. An original, affecting vocalist and a great songwriter to boot, V2 are correct to have made Duke a priority. We saw him play a packed Water Rats in August and his performance with David Ford was one of those truly special pin-drop moments. With a performance on Later...with Jools Holland to come, we're confident that many others will be smitten with his live act too. Watch the video here. JF London Gig: Nov 2, Roundhouse NW1
