19 year-old Connecticut girl Cassie was signed to Sean Combs' Bad Boy label earlier this year, Tommy Mottola signed her for management shortly afterwards. Her debut, which reached no6 in the Billboard Hot 100, was produced by Ryan Leslie (Britney Spears, Beyonce). Simplicity is the key to this hit, which should find a similarly excited audience over here. It is playlisted now at 1Xtra, Choice and Kiss and has joined Radio 1's Upfront list. JF
