A female singer-songwriter in her early 20's, SMT/SLT at present stands for So Many Tragedies; So Little Tenderness, but she comes up with different phrases all the time, being the mysterious type that she is. When this was first posted on our messageboard, some conspiracy theories suggested it was some kind of hoax or experiment using her MySpace page. Those were proved to be untrue, she's genuine, and the track is still a standout. It's an unusual name, and an unusual, but fantastic, retro sound. This is a hit waiting to happen; it just needs the right support. JF
