World Leader Pretend
Tit For Tat

unsigned/Warner Bros US

WE SAY

Their name references REM and their unique sound lies somewhere between Maroon 5 and Arcade Fire (on other album tracks). World Leader Pretend could be massive. They opened for Doves on their European tour last year, and they recently recruited a fifth member which has apparently taken their live show up a level. Their album Punches was released in the US last year and we're amongst a growing number of people who think it could be a classic. Now it's available to be licensed to a UK label. Their MySpace site is here.
