As the sun finally makes its first proper appearance in the UK we have the perfect, blissed out, summer banger to celebrate this glorious weather from grime pioneer Wiley. Taken from his forthcoming new album Godfather II, Certified, it features multi-MOBO Award winner Shakka whose smooth vocal delivery beautifully compliments Wiley’s sizzling flow over a delicious soul-led bassline. Already heavily supported at 1Xtra with a Record of the Week on the Breakfast show last week and plays from DJ Target, Yasmin, Jeremiah and MistaJam, the track is also garnering spins at Kiss, Capital Xtra and Beats 1 (Julie Adenuga). Perfect for chilled out contextual playlists, it has already amassed over 500k streams and we expect this number to soar as summer approaches. Tonight Wiley will be performing a sold-out show at the House of Vans in London, having earlier this year toured Australia, New Zealand and played dates across the UK.
