WE SAY
VICTORIA are a bunch of lads who continue to impress us with their no-nonsense solid guitar pop and this latest track comes as a follow-up to our previously-featured song Summertime, which shone brightly for us back in July. Now we see and hear their songwriting and confidence as performers is building and maturing on this glorious single, produced by the great Jason Perry. Custom-build to cut through and standout on the radio in just about any format to care to feature it, we find it remarkable that they remain unsigned at present. Currently on tour as support act to Newton Faulkner, social media is understandably going crazy for these guys. They play two London gigs with him tonight (November 23) and tomorrow at Oslo. Then they'll embark upon their own headline tour in February, beginning at Camden's Barfly on February 18. We’ve compared them in the past to The 1975. Now we sense they’re in a well-prepared position to scale greater heights than even those boys have achieved so far. And, unquestionably, this superb track is their ticket to 2016 success.
