WE SAY

José González and The Knife both came to our attention at last year's Swedish Grammis. We decided José made a beautiful sound, and we really liked this track by The Knife, which was a Record of the Day back in August 2004. José liked it so much he covered it, and Sony liked it so much they put José's version on the TV advert for their Bravia TV. It's one of the hottest sounds of the moment, so here's another chance to hear the original. Sweden's respected Sonic Magazine voted this song of the century so far. Karin from The Knife vocals the current Röyksopp single, and The Knife will return with a new album early in the new year.
