Plan B
Sick 2 Def (acoustic)

679

WE SAY

We've been watching Ben Drew, AKA Plan B, for a while. He's a rapper, singer, songwriter, story teller, guitar player, and he's one of the artists we're rooting for the most during 2006. Of course there are comparisons with Eminem, and Sick 2 Def's lyric about Hob Nobs is up there with Marshall's most disturbing. But see Ben play live, often accompanied by just his own acoustic guitar, and he's closer to Billy Bragg at his rawest and angriest. A challenging but major talent. London show: Cargo - tonight
