It’s 14 years since production duo 2Square and Antipop alias Télépopmusik last released a full-length studio album. But this great comeback single, which featuring LA based singer Young & Sick, will certainly whet the appetite for new music from the French musicians. Back in 2001, their debut album Genetic World featured the single Breathe. It ended up landing the boys a Grammy nomination in the category Best Dance Recording. Since then, they’ve produced music for the legendary Janet Jackson, and seen their tracks synced in key advertising campaigns for global brands, as well as across numerous film and TV soundtracks. Now Connection puts them firmly back on the radar, with a remix EP coming on June 28, followed by UK dates and a worldwide tour in the Autumn. This latest track is a slick piece of work, sliding and grooving along with expert precision, whilst tipping a nod to all of the great electronic dance pioneers along the way. Cool and refreshing - it’s nice to see them back.
