Scott Matthews
Dream Song

San Remo/Island

WE SAY

Wolverhampton-born Matthews releases this as his second single next month. The album Passing Stranger, which was re-released through Island earlier this month after it’s initial release on San Remo, is one of the most universally critically acclaimed albums this year. Scott’s previous single Elusive was playlisted by R1, R2 and Xfm. Early support for Dream Song has come from Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley and Dermot O'Leary. The track qualifies those Buckley comparisons but more than stands up on its own as a beautifully inventive and ethereal song. JF Watch the video here. London gig: 31 Jan Shepherd's Bush Empire
