Velvet Heart
WE SAY
Velvet Heart, the latest track from Bristol-born singer-songwriter Rothwell, is a gorgeous slice of upbeat pop. Produced by Tim Powell who crafted hits for Girls Aloud, Paloma Faith and Pet Shop Boys, the track showcases Rothwell’s rich and distinctive vocals over a slick and catchy beat. The track was immediately chosen for Spotify’s New Music Friday and Deezer’s Brand New playlists, as well as being featured in the OCC New Music Friday list upon release earlier this month. Previous tastemaker support has come from Clash, Metro, 1883 Magazine and radio support from Annie Mac at Radio 1 and Mista Jam at 1Xtra. Having supported Justin Bieber on his Purpose UK tour last year alongside festival appearances at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time and Isle of Wight Festival, she will be performing at the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen in London on 13 March. Confident and memorable electropop.
