Ragnar Ægir
I’m At Home

Raun Music

WE SAY

Released today (8 July), I’m At Home is the brilliant follow-up to the RotD-featured track Not Too Loud by Icelandic-native Ragnar Ægir. From the opening cascading melodic synths, jangly guitars, and a pulsing rock groove, the song builds effortlessly into a soaring and heartfelt ode about being homesick - something that Ragnar knows all too well living in Germany during the pandemic. Taken from his forthcoming debut EP, out at the end of the year, I’m At Home is the title track and first single from the EP. A homage to his Icelandic heritage, the track captures the joyous and liberating feeling of coming home amidst euphoric tones. As an exclusive preview, watch the beautiful accompanying video, shot by Icelandic adventure creator Ása Steinars, which shows Ragnar’s five-hour journey from the airport to his former home through stunning Icelandic scenery. With his latest release of uplifting cinematic pop, Ragnar continues to create absorbing soundscapes tailor-made for syncs, radio, and for listeners to dive into and explore.
