Your Love
WE SAY
Alternative club masterpiece Your Love brings to end the album campaign for New Build's superb debut LP Yesterday was Lived and Lost. The side project of the much beloved and critically adored Hot Chip. New Build singer/songwriter/multi instrumentalist Al Doyle is a founding member of Hot Chip (mainly playing guitar) as is Felix Martin, who fulfils a beatmaker/producer role in both bands. The third member of New Build is Tom Hopkins, a Hot Chip technical staffer and music maker in his own right. The band's second album is due for recording in April and May out in Mississippi, to be accompanied by a west coast USA tour post Coachella. Despite the self release and independent distribution of their debut via PIAS, New Build are available for both records and publishing. The new video piece by Sam Lawlor makes for an essential watch.
