WE SAY
Lisa Mitchell is a seventeen year-old singer songwriter born in the UK and raised in Australia. Her debut EP, Said One To The Other, was released in Australia earlier this month where it reached the top 30 and was a no1 on iTunes. This track is a co-write with Dann Hume of New Zealand band Evermore (who we've featured before on RotD) and it's a fine piece of stripped down piano pop. Having recently signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV, Mitchell will be in the UK from next month for several weeks, where she is lined up to work with songwriter and producer Martin Terefe at his Kensaltown Studios. We really like what we've heard so far, and it sounds like a promising start for an artist we think has big potential. Lisa Mitchell is available for records. JF
