WE SAY
It’s been a remarkable year for our Record of the Year artist Lewis Capaldi who first broke onto the scene back in mid-2017 with his track Bruises. Since then he has not only amassed over 200m Spotify streams but also sold out back-to-back headline tours and was recently nominated for the BRITs Critics’ Choice award. We featured this superb track back in September, shortly after its release, when it was heavily supported on streaming services and has now garnered over 11m streams with the hilarious video clocking up 1.7m YouTube views. The track featured recently on the Radio 1 A list, having been added as part of the Brit List whilst garnering further spins from across the BBC Network. It’s a real gem and with the release of his stunning Breach EP last month, it just shows what a talented songwriter and artist he is. Congratulations to Lewis, Virgin EMI and the extended team, and here’s to a big 2019 for you all.
